Pricing & Billing

How can the trial period for Co-Pilot be activated?

The 40-hour free trial period for the Co-Pilot plan provides an excellent opportunity for us to work together with a potential Client and evaluate how our services can benefit them. To clarify, this trial period is subject to ensuring we have a consistent workload of 40 hours every week for the upcoming 6-8 weeks.

During this, we provide a trial period of 40 hours of work at no cost to the Client; this allows the Client to experience the full range of services our Co-Pilot plan offers and assess how it aligns with their business needs.

Do I pay my virtual assistant or Remotual?

Our virtual assistants are part of our team at Remotual. You pay us, and we handle paying them while sorting out all the state and federal taxes on your behalf.

How do I track the number of working hours?

Once onboarding is completed, you’ll have access to a client dashboard, where you can monitor the hours your VA put in. In reality, you’ll be able to see projects they’ve been working on.

Is there a minimum commitment period required when hiring a Virtual Assistant?

Nope, we do monthly plans.

What payment methods are accepted for billing?

PayPal, Stripe

Do my unused hours roll over to the next month?

If you work more hours than what is included in your plan, there’s no need to worry about making extra payments because any unused time will carry over to the following week or month to make up the difference. If fewer hours are put in, the VA must put in those additional hours to make sure the package’s required number of hours has been worked.

Can I upgrade my plan if i run out of hours in the middle of a month?

Definitely, just communicate with your Client’s Success Expert.

How does the billing cycle works?

If you’ve opted for a monthly plan, your billing cycle will start on the day you sign up for the plan, and you will be charged again every 30 days thereafter.

For instance, if you sign up for the plan on Jan 1, you will be charged again on Feb 1. Unless you cancel your plan by email, your card will be charged automatically every month.

If you decide to upgrade your plan before the end of 30days, your billing cycle will reset from the day of the upgrade.

For annual plans and marketing manager plans, you will be charged the full amount of the plan at the time of purchase, and you will have one year from the purchase date to utilize your hours. You can utilize your hours anytime during that 365-day period.

Will there be an additional charge if I include another member of my business in my account?

You will have a dedicated VA and a full team working with you as part of our Copilot option to ensure that your business functions smoothly. You can “add-on” additional services to your package should you select the side kick plan.

Can I interview my assistant before signing up? Can I interview more than one assistant?

Already answered in the “How it Works” section.

How do you select the top 3 VA candidates for me to interview?

We select the top 3 candidates considering the nature of the project that VA will be working on and the skills needed. Prior to selecting the top 3 VAs for you to interview, our Client Success Expert gets in touch with you to gather information on the specific tasks you would like the assistant to handle. This enables us to identify the right VAs with the required skills for your project.

What are the working hours for virtual assistants?

Our virtual assistants are available to work from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. We strive to provide you with a virtual assistant who is located in your time zone, whenever possible. In case your assistant’s time zone is different, we will inform you in advance.

Are the virtual assistants at Remotual considered as employees or freelancers? And does this matter?

Our virtual assistants are not just random contractors/freelancers, but actual employees. This is an important distinction because it means that they are part of a dedicated team, with a vested interest in your company’s success. While freelancers can be suitable for one-time projects, a virtual assistant or team can offer a more comprehensive solution for ongoing support and projects. With a virtual assistant or team, you can have peace of mind knowing that you have reliable and consistent support and that you have a dedicated team working towards your company’s goals.

How quickly can I begin with my virtual assistant?

Based on your requirements and anticipated start date, we can pair you with a virtual assistant who possesses the necessary expertise and can commence work at your preferred time. Our team typically requires around 24 hrs to identify the top 3 virtual assistants for you to interview, and then you only have to select the best one to get started.

Are your virtual assistants subject to a screening process?

Certainly! Once a candidate submits their resume, we ask them to provide detailed information regarding their experience. If the candidate is deemed a suitable match for the virtual assistant position, we carry out two rounds of interviews, verify their references, and perform a thorough background check.

What are your virtual assistants' qualifications?

At Remotual we take pride in our assistants who are experts in their respective fields. We do not employ generalists who possess a broad range of skills but lack the depth of knowledge needed to excel in a particular area. Instead, we have a team of marketing professionals who specialize in marketing work, executive assistants with years of administrative experience, and designers who have worked with prestigious design agencies.

Moreover, our virtual assistants are all college graduates who have obtained bachelor’s degrees from accredited universities. This ensures that they have the necessary academic background and training to provide the highest quality of service to our clients.

How can I be sure that my data will be kept secure when working with your virtual assistants?

Remotual’s virtual assistants are all hired as employees & are bound by non-disclosure agreements to protect the data of our clients. Additionally, all virtual assistants are required to adhere to our IT policy, and we conduct regular audits to ensure their compliance. Our commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and upholding high standards of security provides our clients with peace of mind when working with our virtual assistants.

How do I share data with my virtual assistant?

At Remotual, we equip our virtual assistants with Microsoft Office licenses to facilitate seamless document sharing through OneDrive or Sharepoint. In addition, we can offer existing credentials to cloud-based applications or create new user credentials as per the need. If you have a server, we can provide VPN & other remote login options for secure access.

To ensure utmost security, we use LastPass to securely share passwords and Windows Defender to safeguard our employees from potential threats while using Microsoft Office. Rest assured, your confidential data and information are in safe hands with our virtual assistants.

May I inquire if the pricing incorporates the transaction fee?

We don’t charge fees for ACH and bank transfers. But for credit/debit cards, there’s a transaction fee of 3.99% that’s not included in the pricing.
